Skincare has been and still is very important for me. As early as a pre-teen, I suffered from severe acne during puberty. And even as an adult, I still experience some breakouts, as I have oily skin. Now that I am over 30, it is not only important to have clear skin, but it is also a high priority of mine to start early in delaying the skincare aging process. I understand that the earlier I start implementing an anti-aging skincare routine, before the signs of aging take place, the more youthful I shall look as I get older.
FACT: Around age 20, your skin naturally begins to slow down. Collagen production decreases and skin cell renewal happens more gradually, which means the skin doesn’t repair itself as quickly as before. Over time, this can lead to slightly less elasticity, a duller glow, and the early appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Having clear, healthy skin is also important to me at any age because how you look on the outside a lot times effects how you feel about yourself on the inside, which can directly impact your confidence. And we all want to look, and feel great about ourselves, which leads me to the overall goal and focus of my site and social media platforms. It is to GIVE PINK VIBES.
Giving Pink Vibes is not only the name of my site, but it is also a term that I associate with exuding positivity, confidence, and beauty, demonstrating self-love and self-care, providing inspiration, empowerment, and support, as well as celebrating yourself and others.
